The Japanese Garden

Today, a wildly enthusiastic person (allegedly the sister of my hostess) appeared at the front door and said, "Today is the day! It's perfect, we're going!"
You could imagine that I was quite curious about our destination.
It turned out to be the Oregon Japanese Garden.

My... I could be happy in a house like that - every room with a view! Where are those koi? Hm. They must be over at the other end of the pond.

If I were a koi I would love to live in a pond like this. My personal assistant helps me with the perfect pose.

Oh My! Where has the water gone? The Japanese appreciate the value of a good rock.

This could be a cozy cottage for me, but I'm told they don't encourage squatters. Tree propping is an art form here.

The colors are just splendid. Great place for a picnic - you say you forgot the food????

We'll just have a stroll across that lovely bridge. Goodness, what color!

Hm. Who let these fellows in? Ah yes, another lovely gazing pool.

There are no plants in this garden at all. I think a small hydrangea over by those rocks might be nice...

Nice view through the trees in the other direction. Hurry up, JJ, get me over the top before SHE catches us!

Wow, a little river just my size. Ah yes, I think a little dip might be just the thing...

Well! They whisked me away from that river in record time. I am going to sit here and have a little pout. This place is so beautiful that even I have a hard time maintaining a pout.

Goodbye Japanese Garden, Goodbye all... until the next adventure!
