Covering the wings and fuselage

Having learned the MonoKote "ropes" on the flat tail surfaces, we now try covering the wings and fuselage.

Covering the wings is a bit harder than the flat tail surfaces. We leave the wood exposed in the center for attaching to the fuselage. Smooth and tight!

Now for the upper wing. The fuselage gets a cool silver color! We'll leave wood exposed here for the elevator and rudder.

Still fits! But that dihedral we added to the upper wing means we'll need new struts to keep everything level.

We will have to get some sheet balsa to fabricate the longer struts. That means a trip into town!
