Building the Tail section

May 9th, 2004. Tess and the Big Guy build the tail section and try their hand at covering the frames. Instead of the tissue paper suplied with the kit, they decide to try MonoKote, a plastic coating with heat activated adhesive.

Hmm... sort of like a jig-saw puzzle. Pin them down and glue them up. Here's the finished rufdder!

Better read the instructions on covering carefully. The iron looks hot... better let the Big Guy handle this one. Trim to fit...

Seal the edges... Heat shrink and blow dry! Wow! I love the yellow color!
