Boojum went into the water for the first time on 9 Feb 2001. After a brief visit in the boat shed, we watched as she was towed outside to the slipway, and lifted into the water by crane. She floated perfectly on the lines as drawn. We then took her for a little spin on the Wanganui River. The maiden voyage was terminated early with some engine trouble which is still being diagnosed, but most systems seem to be working well. Further reports will be forthcoming!
