Boojum sea trials on hold

Engine problems deepen... during a test run to isolate the problem, the engine "ran away" and has pretty much destroyed itself. We are now looking at a long block replacement or a complete rebuild if we can verify the integrity of crankshaft and other major parts after the stresses they've been through... The engine will be pulled out on Monday and sent to Auckland for post-mortem and repair by Shaw Diesel. Further sea trials will probably be delayed for a few months, although work continues on the paravane rig, sails and various interior items.
